Looking for an engine builder

So I am located in Louisiana and am trying to find an engine builder that knows the KA24DE engine. More importantly someone who know the weaknesses of the motor. If you guys have had any great experiences with a certain builder or people who stand by their work I would really appreciate some contact info. I'm always researching and my build is about to start but its kind of hard w/o an engine builder that I trust. I am willing to ship my motor anywhere in the southeast. It's still in a damn crate from when I bought it. I have heard of Chastain Race engines (but there site is very limited), AMS ( O G Manifraud), Central Florida Turbo. CFT puts down some nice numbers and have a diverse line of cars in their history to back their name. I know it is always just good to call and speak with the shops but I would like to see all my possible options and then proceed. I have big plans to build a car that will earn some respect among the community and plan on doing it right the first time.

Your local engine machine shop can build it. They won't know the weaknesses per say, but if you use quality parts and it's built by someone who knows what they are doing then you can't go wrong.

Yeah I understand most machine shops can do what is required of them in any basic engine build. But I am planning on building a car that will eclipse 550-600whp and would like to have some feed back from an individual who has maybe lived and learned a few things and can advise me. I think its time to put a build post together with some pics of my car to show the direction I intend to go.

a got a full crate engine from ams and its well worth it i have a gt32 turbo with 14lbs of boost with a leaking manafold i hit a llittle over 350hp
