I've already got an ISIS 3" downpipe (ca18 specific), but I'm currently running the stock cast elbow. I can't seem to find any 3" elbows that are ca18 specific as well.

I'm hoping to avoid having to buy an SR20 elbow, but I guess it won't be that bad since there's plenty of cheap eBay elbows for the SR that should get the job done just fine. I know this will mean I have to get the flange cut, clocked, and rewelded on my ISIS downpipe, but that might not be so bad since I can have the downpipe shortened an inch or so to tuck it up tighter to the chassis.

The o2 sensor threads are the same for ca18 and sr20 elbows right??

That's good to hear.

And if anybody in here has an elbow they'd sell me, I've got cash! :)

I haven't seen a CA specific O2 pipe in years. You'll have to buy the SR, clock and reweld. Sorry for the bad news. On the brighter side, the threads are definitely the same.

if you use a sr20 down pipe and a elbow will you have to clock and reweld?

If they're both SR, then it's fine. The issue is when you try to mix SR and CA parts. The orientation of the O2 flang is different and doesn't work.

also, if you are using the stock manifold and not a tubular equal length manifold, the downpipe will hit the frame rail. I had mine cut, angled away, and it works great.

stock manifold, SR20 elbow, SR20 downpipe = touches frame rail (needs modification to downpipe)

tubular CA manifold, SR20 elbow, SR20 downpipe = everything bolts up fine.

Thanks for the info.

My setup is going to be: CXRacing tubular CA manifold, GT28R, eBay SR20 elbow, Isis CA18 downpipe (cut and rewelded to fit the SR elbow, as well as tucked up tighter to the chassis since I'm low as hell).

I know this is old, but I have an SR20 Isis O2 housing/screamer pipe that I have left over from my bottom mount setup. Ill sell it for $80 shipped.
I had bought a cheap Ebay setup, but they downpipe hit the frame rail. So I just went to a local exhaust shop and they fabbed me up a custom downpipe with cat delete and a racing muffler. Worked great for me, but they charged me out the a**. $320.

would putting the downpipe on a tube bender work? I just got mine and I dont really want to have to cut and find someone to weld stainless steel.

i dont think a tube bender would work. it really needs a differently angle put into the exhaust, and since its right at the bend and so close to the turbo where the correction needs to be made, i dont think it will work....
