I need to replace the idler pulley in my 2013 Nissan Rogue but the pulley is behind the frame, I can't fit any tools in there. Any advice on how to get this done?

The Idler is only one bolt, but it's pretty much impossible to access from the bottom. The simplest way is to remove the passenger side engine mount and jack up the nose of the engine. There's no easy out, Motor quotes 1.3 hours even for a pro with power tools and a lift.

Vstar - can't you get at it by pulling the passenger side wheel and the inner fender?

The tensioner yes, but I never had any luck getting at the idler that way. Fortunately they don't crap out very often, but working from the bottom, the tensioner is in the way and you're working almost blind. The nose mount and wishbone are only about a dozen fasteners, then you have a good look and a much better working position. If you have a leaky rocker cover then count it as a bonus, you can change it while the mount is off. ;)
