I have a 95' S14 240SX. It has an RB25DET in it with an FMIC, Apex GT exhaust. I was wanting to do a turbo upgrade, and I would like some advice. I will spend 1000. or less on the turbo. I want this to be a street car only. So i want fast spooling, medium power, mild boost (10 or so PSI). I would like to be able to upgrade later on with 555cc/min. injectors and either an AEM EMS or a piggy-back ecu.

I also know i wont want much more than this, cause i already have a track car that is much more powerful than this. So if the need comes i can just drive it.

I would get an actuated T3/T4 hybrid so you can retain the OE manifold and off-the-shelf downpipe. You may need to stick a spacer and longer studs on it to clear a large T4 compressor housing. Look here, http://www.cheapturbo.com they have decent prices.

Cheapturbo told me they we're stopping selling the internally wastegated t3/t4's, so you may have to get a GT series off there.

what kind of power numbers are you looking for? cant answer specific trim sizes without at least a horsepower estimate

i was thinking 300+ to the wheels. i also wanted to do it with just 555cc/min injectors on possibly a piggy-back ecu. if thats feasible.

IIRC, Matt from GTR Shop said that he got 400hp out of the stock 370cc sidefeeds.

With just an SAFC.

This was about 9 months to 1 year ago. (yeah, I'm a lurker)
