Hello, everyone.

I've been online for a few hours now looking at Apexi, HKS, and even BRM exhausts. I really have no idea what to buy. I have a 93 240sx convert...

A few years ago, I had a 300zx and bought the Stillen exhaust- this was the best exhaust I ever had! It was quiet, and I immediately felt the difference in power.

So, basically, I'm looking for high performance, but I dont like the loud sounding exhausts... Im looking for an M5 type purr or even the gentle roar of the old 911 turbos.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Antonio

Large canister, large resonator = Apexi Hybrid.

We might still be able to get you one. Wish I had sound clips of the previous one I had on my hatch.

brm is not a bad choice either.with a KA you could get by with a 2.25 or 2.5 pipe and dual tips and look better than stock and sound nice as well.

here is mine, but it's not really going to sound the same because it's mated to an RB25 and 3".

BRM is awesome and provides more punch at higher RPM's. It is loud however when you stomp on it but fine at idle or casual motoring. But so there are no suprises, anything past 2500 and she sings!

The best are the whirly mufflers.

I want this so bad. Realize TT. You can get 3 inch for your KA and it still sounds good. 5Zigen Border III sounds similar, but Realize TT looks better.

I think you misread the subject title "quiet" was the Bold word in it.

But the megan exhaust with the dual tips and black canister would probably sound awesome with a resonator welded in the main pipe. With out the resonator its pretty loud. But if you put a large enough resonator it will quiet it down a lot. Also like everyone else says the apexi hybrid megaphone is also quiet but stands out like huge coffee can muffler behind stock rear bumpers.

Have you looked into the Buddy Club Spec II?

Anyways, BRM is always a good choice. You'll know you're getting quality and good service. And you'll be supporting NICO! What more could you want?
