After owning a 1990 300ZX my gf has now told me I need to do some looking around to find her one as well. I am not going to complain about that. I was wondering what prices were running for a 300zx convertible. How noisy are they and crap like that. I dont really care what the milage is to bad. After 5000 dollars gets paid off this year, I will be looking really hard for a convertible to put around it. I just would like to know what people think about them, and how good the convertible top is and crap like that.

convertible are really really rare. if you do find one, plan on spending about TT price for one. i don't know anything about driving characteristics, so i can't help you there. and she is either getting smarter (which can't be because she is a woman) or she is high maintenence.

LOL

Good Stuff.

The vert z32 is a great car. I would think one in good shape is going to cost ya about $5~$10K more than a T-top. IMO the T-tops are just as fun and good looking as the drop top.Living in Iowa you will get more use out of the T-Tops as well.

Good Luck in your hunt and keep us posted.

Convertibles are nice. I'm not really sold on the style though. Either way, they ride good and aren't all that hard to find if you look in the right places. Being an NA they're pretty reliable (TT's are a pain as many know). My only gripe is that if you push it you can really tell there's no roof as the body flexes pretty good. Also, for what its worth, sounds like your girlfriend is pretty smart lol.
