Hi people, Well I blew my engine on my 92 240sx and now I'm looking to buy a new one. I been looking to do a SR swap but I would need about 5,000 dollars to do the swap. So I found a 93 motor for 650.00 but I still want a turbo for my car, so do anybody knows who can build me a turbo kit for the KA, or should I still go for the SR swap?

That's a good question. You're probably the first to ask that. Just get an SR.

I can build you a turbo kit for $5,000 :D

Anyway, $650 for a 93 KA motor is a bit too much. For that amount of money I can have my old KA pulled off and have a lower mileage KA put in by a shop.

I was building a kit for my car but decide not to because I ran out of money. My kit will have you pushing 400+horse power. With the parts I have you still need a couple more things that you can buy on your own.

Everything is brand new. I have...

TO4B Garrett turboCustom Spearco FMIC 31x10x3JGS Turbo manifoldTial 38mm wastegate with 7.5psi springTial Blow off valveWalbro 255 fuel pumpIn & out turbo oil lines.

You need.... if you want a car pusing 400+ horses

50 or 72lbs MSD injectors : $289 Fuel rail: Ebay $60 made by P-FabECU: Jim wolf technology $500Pistons: Ross $499Rods: Pauter $689

I want to sell what I have to you for $1750If you buy the rest of the stuff on your own it will cost $2037

So..... your total kit will be $3787

This kit will be better then Nsport, Greddy, or xsengineering For the price you pay for those kits, it doesnt come close to the quality of parts you will have.

Why would do people come into the KA-T section and ask us if they should get an SR?

But don't listen to those other guys I can build a kit for $4000 and I will throw in a one pound bag of jolly ranchers.

:D

I think I could do it for $3500 and I raise you a box of Pop Tarts thare are only very slighly past their expiration, but those things are really on the safe side of food spoilage. If you happen to get sick it'll work itself out because I'm also throwing in a bottle of Pepto Bismol (extra strength)

For $650, you should be able to get a much newer KA with transmission and lower miles. Its the KA-T board, and I'm gonna say go with the KA-T. As far as kits go, WDRacing should have something ready soon.

If your lookinf for engines, or KA motorsets, I have alot available to me, I just sourced out a 32k 95 motorset, pratcially brand new for 800 bucks, not bad. We have a couple with 50 to 70k for around 700, all are S14 spec.
