$5K for a complete S/C setup for your ride is not too bad. For these cars, they are built pretty well to begin with. You need to enjoy until you have the bucks to go big. Speed costs, how fast can you spend...

are you sure about that stillen site? I heard that stillen discontinued their superchargers for the 5th gen and they won't sell it to you if you have an automatic. From what I heard is that you got to assemble the kits urself now, Matty on that other forum is selling a kit for a grand (the mounting plate) and then you gotta get a vortech blower and all the piping i guess.

Start out small, then move up.

Intake, exhaust, y-pipe, lightweight (non-underdrive pulleys), suspension, lightweight rims, lightweight lug nuts.

i already have an injen intake and its lowered an 1 1/2"...a buddy says he can get me good lightweight rims for a great price...waiting for the new front rotors i ordered to come in...by powerstop, i heard they were a descent brand with good prices...but the full exhuast system is what i was shooting for first but things keep popping up so they'll have to wait....for now atleast

and what the difference between underdrive and non-underdrive pulleys?

Stillen did discontinue production a couple of years ago.

You can find complete kits used if your lucky for ~$2000-$3500 including the blower and all of the little stuff.

Matty makes the V1 conversion kits that basically convert the Stillen V2 kit to a V1 kit to reduce that belt-shredding issues etc. that the V2 guys were having.

He also makes "Starter Kits" which is an expansion of the V1 conversion kit, but doesn't include much of the setup as far as the fuel system upgrades and general supercharger setup is concerned.

If you don't know exactly what your looking for, I wouldn't recommend trying to piece together a kit. You'd be better off trying to find one complete.

In saying that, I will have several components for sale pretty soon if you are looking to piece one together......whoa, look-out, for sale plug.......

The underdrive pulleys are smaller in diameter than stock, so you save weight and parasitic drag because you're feeding less than optimal rotation into each of the accessories (A/C, Alternator, power steering pump...etc).

The non-underdrive pulleys are stock diameter, but are built lighter than stock. This allows for optimal rotation on all of your accessories and a release of some unecessary rotational drag.

You'll have to verify that the crank pulley is well balanced because some have complained about their crank seals wearing prematurely do to vibration with the pulleys.

Also, I don't want to get into an argument with any other member about how underdriving is perfectly fine unless you're running a gigawatt or two. Nissan designed the pulleys at their diameter for a reason, let's keep it that way.
