I'm looking for a 15" wheel setup for my 4 lug S13 and have been having a hell of a time finding something with a decent offset/width/look. I want at least 7" wide but I'd really like 8" wide. I want an offset that will allow me to run tires with some meat on them and put them flush with the outside of the fenders. I don't want them to stick out but I also don't want them inward like the stock SE wheels.

I plan to lower the car using springs/struts since its mainly just a daily driven street car. I plan to upgrade to the Z32 brake setup in the near future but I may go with the q45 upgrade instead. I'd like a wheel with a lip, but its not really necessary.

I'm also looking for the right sized tire to go with this setup. I'm not sure how the width of the wheel affects the size of the tires you should get, but I'd imagine that if the wheel is 1 wider, that the tire would sit a bit lower but maybe my logic is wrong. I did work on a 1980 911 and it had a BBS mesh wheel on it with the perfect tire setup. I didn't notice the size at the time so I'm kicking myself now, all I know is they were 15s. The tires just looked agressive on the car and I'd like to replicate that look on mine.

Traction is a major issue. I'm running an open diff. at the moment on the stock SE wheels with some crappy michlins and in the rain I hate to drive the car. As soon as boost kicks in, the back end breaks traction and wants to put me sideways. I had previously been looking at a 215/50/15 but there weren't many choices available. I thought maybe the additional contact patch would help me but I think the tire is going to end up being too low for my tastes.

Any help would be appreciated, esp on the wheels since i haven't been able to fine one set that matched what I was looking for.
