Well, i'm new to the 240sx but big into the idea of building a badass ride.. i have a 1990 ka24e. i baught cp pistons, eagle rods and new fuel pump. all i want to do is rebuild the motor with a friend of mine and make the car look and sound very nice, for now. looking for pointers........... the car came with side skirts and a nice rear bumper. after a little love and some bondo, they dont look half bad right now. i do however have a bit of rust under the car..... i'm taking the motor and trans out on friday to start the rebuilding process.... my goal for this year is not to make it the fastest on the road, but nice enough to get by until next year...

bondo is shakey stuff, there are much better alternatives like fiber glass and Ideally cutting a piece of metal and welding it on.

hearing you say bonda scares me.

Small Turbo!? t25s are everywhere, its hard not to trip over one, go to the engine parts for sale section and create a want to buy thread... ( WTB t25 no shaft play )

t28's are better and if you know what how to weld get a holset hx35 or the like.

what bumper do you have? focus first on coilovers and suspension parts, thats heading in the right direction.

but of course, you can think for yourself.

thanks for the reply. suspension is very important, but for now, ( this summer ) i just want the car running somewhat nice and looking good. this winter is where i'll make my money tearing everything appart and making it track ready...
