Anybody have any preference on a Short Throw shifter. I've got a 04 Spec V and i need one bad. If anything I wouldn't mind getting a Nismo one but i can't find any links anywhere for one. Lemme know what ya'll think. If this has been asked before sorry i can't seem to find anything on it. If anything post a link to a retailer that would be cool too, thanks.

When you say Short Throw Shifter, do you mean a shorter shifter shaft??? or a shifter with shorter throws??? if u want a shorter shaft just cut the stock one. if you want shorter throws there are abunch online for about $90 - $100, but if your cheap like me you can get some knock off ones from ebay for 10 bucks

Well mainly i want to decrease the distance between shift's. I looked on ebay and I found a B&M and a bunch other ones. I read through some of the feedback on the no name brand one's and some said it only decreased the shift distance 20-40% through only 1st and 2nd gear. Money isn't an issue I just want a solid product.

the B&M STS's on ebay are most likely knock off's. most of the time they cost about $100

I've actually heard bad things about the Spec B&M unit. There are a couple of other brands out there. I hear the best reports about Axxtion and Megan Racing in spite of the fact that they're off-brands.

I've gone on to buy the axxtion SS. I made sure to read the comments on ebay regarding it and i'm satisfied enough to try it out. I'll post as soon as i get it installed, i'll take some pics of the installation process, they say it's realy easy but we will see.

Since your's is a cable shift, it'll be cake. It's all from inside the cabin.
