I am selling a set of Cali custom springs but they were being cut another coil or so to achieve what I want. Here is the pic of how low it gets:

We are both in LA if you are interested we can make a deal.

Thanks!

I have a set, brand new, you can have them for the bargain price of $5000.

JK. not for sale...unless you have $5k to offer I might be convinced to take a little less but it may take an "act of congress" to get me to part with them! As I'm sure you know they are quite rare, especially brand new unused.

wow. That Q is SEXY!

But aren't cut springs not a good idea? A buddy of mine told me that you hit a big enough bump and that spring will go and FUBAR the front end. (Or back end if it's where it's located.)

A cut spring won't "go" or break if that's what you are talking about. Another way to get the springs to drop is to heat them with a torch. That, on the other hand, has the potential to allow the spring to break .

What most don't like about cutting a spring is that you change the spring rate.

Yea I have been riding these springs + Tokico shocks for 10k miles and they ride absolutely fine. They are not bouncy like a civic with cut stock springs.

Sorry. What I meant was that my buddy told me that since the spring is missing a coil, a large enough bump would compress it quicker than it would normally and the resulting rebound would stretch the spring to it's current full length and come loose.

I've never done any spring work but he's the one who warned me off of cut springs.
