Hey guys, I am new to the NICO forums.

I will be picking up a 1972 Datsun 510 on friday and was hoping someone might now of a good junkyard or dismantler in the Sacramento Rancho Cordova area.

I need to find front and rear bumpers and the grill/headlight surround.

If you know of a place or have and extra bumpers laying around, thanks guys!

the only place i would think of is N.O.W in Rancho Cordova off of Recycler/Dismantle Row. I believe the exit is Zinfandel on 50 towards South Lake Tahoe.

You should try pick and pull also. They have a great selection of cars for good prices. The PnP here in Fairfield is actually from what I hear one of the better ones since a lot of rare Nissan/Datsun parts can be found here (like the blown SR from a few months back, lol).

I was gonna try driving around the recycle road area and seeing what I could fins.

I use o roll out to HAP all the time for my civic so I assumed there would be at least one Datsun/Nissan dismantler there.

I never thought pick and pulls would have anything...

"Sunrise nissan" has stuff and as he said Nissan only also have some stuff but most of it is newer and generally doesn't go back that far. Their are 2 PnP in that area. The one on sunrise is domestic, you need to go down recycle road to find Pnp import. The PnP's in that area are the best in the greater Sacramento area and do tend to have alot of old school in the mess. The problem is they are no longer arranged by make so you really have to look around. There is also another decent PnP on stockton blvd in south sac off 99. If you shoot down gerber toward 99 gerber t-bones into stockton blvd right across the street from PnP. They too tend to have alot of old school. The PnP in roseville sucks dont waste your time with it. If you want to drive there is also a PnP in down in stockton that has a decent inventory.

Ill definitely check out the Pnp import down on recycle road. I need alot of miscellaneous stuff so if thay have some old school then it is definitely worth checking out.

Thanks guys.

Oh, and I got the car Friday night and absolutely LOVE it...

The one I got was the blue with the KA24 swap

It has a black primer hood and yellow inner/high beam lights. No front or rear bumper or front grill

I went for it since it had the low mileage KA in it already, plus the GC coilovers.

The clutch went out or something earlier tonight so I have to figure something out now... Not really sure what went wrong really

Damn...

Hah I saw that posted and was totally interested in it. He was only asking like 4k for it too. Seemed like a pretty good deal. A clutch shouldn't be difficult to replace, they're only like $120 or so. I helped a friend of mine do one on his S13 and it only took about 3 or 4 hours, it was our first one on the ka series.

I ended up getting it for quite a bit less than what he was asking so it turned out good.

I posted up some pics in the Datsun forum if you wanna go check it out.

ANd I ended up picking up some axles from NOW in rancho and they seem like a pretty cool place.

The pick n pull didnt have much last week but I know where it is now and will defintiely go back again.

Just a heads up. N.O.W is a fu$ING rip off. Mike that works the front desk is a FU7kING douche bag. Sells manifolds for $300, and N60 MAFS for $100.Pick and pull is the only way to do it.
