Just bought a new fx 35 AWD. I live in Steamboat Springs where we get lots of snow. What are some suggests for good snow and/or all-season tires for this vehicle. The stock tires are sized 265/60/18 and are marginal in the snow (great for spinning cookies though).

That's one of the tougher fitments this late in the season. The only snow tire I am aware of in that size would have been the Bridgestone DMZ2 Winter Dueler. They are sold out for the season this late in the year. That would be your best bet for better traction next year. We start getting those in around September/October. The all-seasons are going to be minimal when it comes to traction with a tire that wide (but you already know that). I'd tough it out this year and get a good set of snows when they are available next Fall. You're not going to get into anything with better traction in that size short of going to a true Winter tire.
