I'm about ready to give up on this swap! I'll be the first to admit that I suck at wiring and I cant figure out this stuff! I've been stuck on this stage on the swap for over 6 MONTHS!!! I've got to the point that I just dont even wanna look at my car anymore. SO... it's time to find a shop to clean this mess up! I'm willing to trailer the car to Denver, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Salt lake city, farther if necessary! I'd need a shop that can wire, fire, and dynotune the car in a reasonable amount of time (I don't wanna take it to a shop that's gonna let it sit for six months before they touch it an then take another six months to finish the job) AND THEY NEED TO BE EXPERIENCED! If you know of a shop that you'd recommend, please reply with what they did for you, how long it took and roughly how much it cost. Please include contact information for the shop. Thanks in advance!

Buy a soldering iron, some shrink tubing, and good 3M electrical tape and DIY. RB25 into S14 is CAKE!

well its an s13, not an s14. plus its my first attempt at wiring anything more complicated then a starter/alternator. On top of that, it seems that some of my harness is missing... and to make things worse I'm trying to incorporate a greddy E-manage ultimate in order to eliminate the MAF (and run loads of hp). as you can see I've bitten off alot more then I can chew here.

BUT! if the probs I listed dont scare you, I'll be happy to send my harness's to you if you'd like a crack at it.

I would take one step at a time. Get the stock ECU and engine running, get the bugs worked out, and then start upgrading.

Here's a link to a wiring/install guide for an RB25 into S13:

http://www.racebread.com/old/Documents/harness.swf

All it is, is connecting wires into spots that they normally should go. No magic to it, just getting some of the lower harness to work with the body harness. This was my first swap ever, and I took a guide and expanded upon it for others to use. Never did any wiring before that, so don't be afraid of it. The entire wiring diagram for the RB25 is out there and so are other wiring guides. It will save you from paying Carl $300 to do it and since he's swamped, it will also save his mind.

Luv ya carl!
