I have an LSD q45 diff with a 3.54 R&P set, I am looking for something lower in the 3.0x range. Hell, even a 3.30 range at this point. I realize custom gear set is probably my only option, which is completely fine because I want to compare prices between a custom gear set verse changing transmission/drivetrain. If this is in the wrong section could some one point me to the right one, I am new to these parts. :dblthumb:

I have no idea where you can get a gear set. But do you mind if I ask why you want a lower gear ratio?

I run a built th400 in my 240z and I would prefer to keep it in the car. I have enough horsepower and the car is light enough that I can get away with it on launches.

In that generation, that was the lowest (numerically) gear you could was the 3.54... The G50 had kind of a "bastard" diff by nissan standards, so finding a whole pumpkin that will drop in is probably not gonna happen...

Could you just run some taller tires in the rear to make it "act" like a lower gear?

The G35 had a 3.357:1, the F50 Q45 had 3.13:1 ratio, wonder if you could make some sort of "fraken-diff"?
