Is anybody here a machinist? I recently bought a 52mm Triple Gauge pod for the A/C Vents in my S13 and i like it so much, i wanted to know if anybody here could make a 2 or 3 52mm Gauge Pod to fit where the stock climate control unit would be. I have a gauge there now, but its only being held on by the bezel that goes over the shifter and CD player area. So if anybody can do that sort of thing, and do it for a FAIR price, i'd be more than willing to pay.

he CNC Machines his out of 6061-T6 aluminum so if anybody can get me the exact look for a price around his, i'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

now go to menards or lowes, and they have a section with some sheet metal. Trace your pattern and cut it out. Grind your edges, and wala you got what you wanted. If you have a pattern, may as well do it the right way now. See ingenuity is there you just gotta find it.

I'm making mine out of smoked glass...I could give you instructions on it but you probably don't have the tools. However when I finish mine I will put it up as a write up and offer to make them for people.

EDIT: CANNOT MAKE THIS OUT OF TEMPERED GLASS

My design isn't perfect. With the cut outs for the gauges to sit in, nor the straightness of the actual rectangle shape of the piece itself lol. But i painted it and put the whole bezel thing on and it looks pretty nice, i must say. and the only reason i made it was so that my a/f ratio gauge didn't have a glare on it so i can read it lol ooo geeez. still haven't taken a pic yet but will in the morning.

well here are the pics. I will eventually go out and make this out of metal or something but i need other stuff and this works ok for now lol. But it will get done in the spring, my poor S13 has to sit the Michigan Winters out

^^thats just my friends new S14 lol

give me feedback on what i did. I know its not perfect, but let me know what you think.
