As long as you stick with name brand and the right stage for your hp output you should be good to go. With the abuse your gonna throw it also you don't want to risk a cheap clutch.

go to At the top there is a button that say's shopping. Click-it! I got my Exedy stage 2 from e-bay a year and a half ago for $290. Now good luck finding one under $350. It grabs great and is hanging in there really good after a year of hard everyday driving, Clutch killing drifting, drag racing once every month and some auto-crosses.

cheapest would be a local clutch shop in your area.

my 6 puck stage 3 (400-500hp) cost me 175$ with a resurfaced wheel.

this is from a place thats a Daiken Klutch and Exedy re-seller for GA.

usually these shops, know there s**t. Especially if they've been around for a while.

Rebuilt clutch = badResurfaced flywheel = okay.

I'm in the same boat as you, but I havn't really searched from clutches yet as I'm not planning on buying one really soon. I'll probably end up with exedy stage 2

when you go to a clutch shop, they use you're old clutch disk to measure and make you a new one.

What does every one think about XTD clutches? My friends all run them with good results but I hear they are junk.

I have a xtd stage 3 clutch prob pushing around 300ft.lbs of torque, but for the 400hp your looking at lookup Tennessee clutch, a member that runs 11`s uses them and swears by them, I will buy one once my clutch starts slipping.

If you want a good quality bang for the buck, look on ebay under ezclutch, just bought my clutch kit from them w/ lightened flywheel (15lbs), and the quality is very good...and their customer service is awesome...have a few friends with honda's that love their clutches, too

I see this thread is a little dated, but if you haven't purchased your clutch yet, you may want to check out the Advertisers section on this site. We have some pretty good deals going on for you guys on the forum!!

Thanks!!
