I just bought a S15 SR20DET to transplant into my 1970 Datsun 2000 roadster. The turbo must be relocated to the top of the manifold to avoid interference with the steering shaft. I prefer a cast over a tubular manifold but every one I've found so far has a separate outlet for an external wastegate. I plan to use the internal wastegate on the T28 and don't want the external outlet (there's no room in this small car for an external wastegate anyway). Anyone know of a top mount cast manifold without the external wastegate port? Thanks.

Unfortunately, I can't think of many cast manifolds that fit SRs for top mount.

You could go the route of weld-els. Not my favorite solution by a long shot, but when done properly, they're not bad. Unfortunately, it's a tubular solution, which is what I know you're trying to avoid.

I have one. It's for a T3 flange though. Also, it has an external wastegate port, but if you find an internally wastegated turbo to fit you could just block it off. I don't know of a single top mount cast manifold for a t2 flange, this is probably the best you could get. I don't know the brand, but I can sell the one I have if you want it.
