Looking for a 240, what should I look out for

I'm starting to look at 240's for sale and I was wondering if there are are any issues with certain years. Recalls and what not for instance. I've kind of got my mind set on a 95-98 body style, it's 95-98 right? Anyway, if you guys could offer me any pointers or things too look out for it would be greatly appreciated.

95-96 is the older style grill and headlights etc "front facia" while 97-98 got the what do you people call em shark eye headlights? the latest **** s14a I think it is... = 97-98

did they ever have any issues with certain years. Recalls? I just want to make sure I don't get something that I regret in the long run.

yes they had recalls... for instance this is the only one i know of right off hand

the seatbelt part with the release button (where the lap belt plugs into) was recalled because the plastic release button would crack and pieces would fall into the unit.... I'm not sure what years but i have a recall list at home i can post it soon ..

I read somewhere that 1995 was a recall year. If you look at production numbers after 1995, it dramatically started dropping, I believe from 5 digits to 4.

They have the exact same recall, almost word for word for '90-'92 DSMs. Must have been a common problem.
