for my CA18DET. Somebody mentioned one but I can't remember what car it's from. Does anyone have one and want to get rid of it? Or just let me know where I might be able to find one? Thanks!

BTW, sorry for the lack of updates on the MGB/CA project. I was out of town for three weeks, and I've just about finished the fabbing of the oil pan and pickup. One that stuff's done I'll get some more pics up!

Find someone with a lathe..machine ONLY the front pulley off.

When I first did my transplant, we machined the front 2 pulleys off and we machined through to the rubber bit in the middle, and the pulley fell apart. So don't do that.

But just doing the front pulley is fine.

it comes stock with a 2 belt pulley! They run the a/c and p/s on the same pulley on a FWD CA18. Alot easier than lathing off the front section unless you know someone at a machine shop.

So if I gank one from a FWD CA, the pulley is the same size as the rwd but it only has two pulleys? I could just run p/s on the second one right?

Does any aftermarket company(Unorthodox) make a lightweight pulley for the ca?

I couldn't find anyone that makes aftermarket pulleys for the CA. 'Talked to one outfit (can't remember who) who would build me a custom single belt crank pulley for something like $800, at which point I determined that that option was out . There may be somebody somewhere in JDM land that makes pulleys for it, but I couldn't find 'em.

on ca the power steering is on the third belt. so it wouldnt align.bascially for power steering you need ca18det pulley.rwd too i belive.
