i have a little damage where the side skirt would sit, so i am going to try to cover up what i can with the side skirts and repair the rest.

i was wondering if anyone has a pair they do not want, maybe someone who purshased an aftermarket kit. you can email me at [email protected] or just post here, thank you.

heh, im gonna try, right now im thinking of getting a new rocker arm (body shop guy called it that, the piece that the skirt would cover) and then just fixing the fender. i would just get it all bent back but i was told that the underbody piece is a pain to align and gets costly.

nissan wholesale parts told me $603 for the pair. i could make my own for that! heh

the rocker arm on our 240's is conected to the front and rear fenders, all in one piece, if im not mistaking. if so than you would have to buy all of that. or maybe its just connected to the back fender.

When i worked at a Nissan parts department, cost was like $380, plus the 10% i would have had to pay it would have been like $420 + tax still... find em used.

i had a hole in the rocker panel of my old s13 coupe and a local body shop qouted me $1400 to fix that and the rust on the other side of the car but in the same place. But another guy told me he could do it for $400 by cutting and welding ones from another car in. Too bad I never got a chance to get that fixed, oh well same problem on my 240 fb.

you are right, the rocker arm does connect to the rear fender. there is something that looks like a seam in the middle of it, tho upon closer inspection i saw it was just an indent.
