Looking back...

Now that 2005 is here for me, I looked back at the last year and some of the things that have happened to me. My second son was born, I moved to Japan, I got a nice set of wheels. But not so good things happed too. My father and I lost a truly wonderful friend in February to brain cancer. Another friend of mine back home lost her baby 8 months into the pregnancy. And yet another friend got locked up cause she was to lazy to do her comunity service.

I see these things a learning experinces that will help me to become a "wise old man" as the saying goes. Someone full of wisdom with an answer or advice to every problem. It's these things I will not take for granted.

Welcome the new year, 2005. May this year be filled with more things to learn from, good or bad.

2004 was a year of loss for me as well. But as you stated good things happened in 04 as well.
