Just curious, is the tow hook supposed to be part of the tool kit? I don't seem to have it. Did they stop supplying these with the 2008s?Knightro2 wrote:LOL, my guess is he did. Notice the tow hook is installed on the first picture.
Because he can.bigdog wrote:1 question: why??
I looked in the spare tire well today (even took out my spare), and inspected the bag which holds the two bits to raise the jack. I still didn't see the presence of a tow hook.Onyxblue wrote:You can find it where the spare tire is.
My '08 has one. Go get one from the dealer.mosquito_R wrote:I looked in the spare tire well today (even took out my spare), and inspected the bag which holds the two bits to raise the jack. I still didn't see the presence of a tow hook.
Any recent 08 owners can concur with this or should I ask the dealer for one? Thanks.
I'd talk to the dealer, my 08 has one.mosquito_R wrote:I looked in the spare tire well today (even took out my spare), and inspected the bag which holds the two bits to raise the jack. I still didn't see the presence of a tow hook.

You need to get one... it's the only way to safely load and tow the Versa.mosquito_R wrote:Just curious, is the tow hook supposed to be part of the tool kit? I don't seem to have it. Did they stop supplying these with the 2008s?
That's a tie down, all cars have those so that they can tie the front and back for shipment. You'll still have a stop for the tow hook in your front bumper and you will need to use it if you ever need your Versa towed.chkchkchk wrote:My '07's tow hook is under the rear bumper, built in and everything.
