I am sure you guys get this a lot, but I am looking to get a G35 coupe. I have a 2005 TL (11 months old) and don't like the build quality - rattles, etc. Any huge issues at this point in time with the coupe? Is a new model rolling out for 07?

They are going to redo the 07 Sedan but no changes to the Coupe until 08.

yes he is right...new sedan comes out later this year...as for the coupe...new one isn't til 2008 and i hope it looks like the concept. i like the coupes...they are pretty nice. Not too many problems with rattles etc...there are a few common ones that have easy fixes. go test drive one!

Hi and Welcome.
I'm pretty new here too and I have a 2006 Coupe purchased in June. I have noticed some small problems that I'm not sure are due to my pickiness. But here it goes anyways.
I noticed that the paint job quality was not quite what I expected. I noticed some overspray in some areas, and some divits is others. When I picked up my car, the dealer had to repaint the back bumper as there was some black spots that could not be buffed out.
Also, I've noticed quite a bit of rattles. I do have the sport suspension so that may be a factor in it. There was a very loud and annoying rattle coming from the center console around the shifter that was easily taken care of by the dealer. But I also have some dash rattles that seem to be coming from the inside that the dealer doesn't want to touch...yet (may cause more rattles than he fixes).
Another quirk, that many have complained about is the fact that the seat memory does not memorize the position on the side mirrors.
Okay enough of the negatives. The positives so far outweigh my negatives in my book. Bluetooth is awesome, although not as sophisticated as the TL's. Intelligent Key is awesome! Don't need to take the key out of my pockets anymore. The seats are very comfortable and have adequate supports. The car looks amazing! The exhaust note is never old, and the performance of that VQ engine is just stunning.
