Early model R32 RB26's have the crank collar issue. I've heard that from 94 or 95 on, the issue was addressed from the factory.
If you're looking for a daily, I'd shy away from the GT-R just from a maintenance/upkeep standpoint. Parts in general are pretty expensive for the R. GTS25-t R33 would be good for a daily as there aren't a whole lot of electrical gadgets to go bad or crazy. Not a big fan of the non-GT-R 33's, though. A few minor cosmetic differences just make it look ugly to me.
GT-R you have the ATESSA ET-S computer, senors for the the ATESSA, HICAS, etc.
