Looking at buying a 240

ok im looking at buying a 92 240sx the body is clean as it can get no rust good paint and a CF hood
its basically stock except for intake/exhaust
the bad thing is he says it has low compression in cyl 3 but it drives fine and has normal power so i figure its either rings or valves/head
i dont know how low yet he has yet to get back to me on a few questions i asked him

I'd recommend requesting to be able to take it to a mechanic/repair shop prior to purchase. Specifically for compression testing/cylinder leak down testing. That way you would know. If that is out of the question I would pass and wait for a better opportunity. Good luck regardless.
