1.) Could well be. JDM are slightly different thean US models.2.) Then obtain a later model if you are not proud to represent the buckle.3.) Easy in the US, but it will get more difficult as time passes.4.) Many on JDM models, especially in later years and on President models. 5.) That is a good question. One would have to compare the part and wiring diagrams from the respective FSM. Does this car have rear air? That might indicate incompatibility.6.) Don't think so.
Nothing wrong with a well functioning Bose unless you think Techno or Hip Hop is music.
Be sure to check the timing chain guides as they will have to be updated to the newer metal backed ones or else it is goodbye engine.
