Looking at an 03 i35

Hey guys,

Looking at an Infiniti i35 tomorrow with 70k. I looked around a bit but couldn't find anything that might answer my question. It's hard to find reliability reports for this car, even consumer reports doesnt list the model, so I was wondering if somebody could give an unbiased overview and common troublespots. Anything I should look out for? Anything that I should run away from? When are things like timing belt, water pump and etc due on these cars?

I am a student so a reliable car is a must. At the moment I have a Volvo but it has 167K and needs some work, so its more practical to buy a newer car as i will be commuting almost 50 miles to school in each direction. What are the average costs of parts and labor for an Infiniti these days?

I have an 03 I35 and I love it.

Mine has 170k on it right now. no major issues. No timing belt because it has gears and never needs to be changed. all in all.. I love my car. will drive it anywhere..
