Looking at a car tonight (help)

My friend is going to look at a 1998 Eagle Talon ESi tonight. I drove a 95 DSM Eclipse for a while, so I know a fair share about them already, but does anyone have anything that I should pay specific attention to?

Two words...CRANK WALK. I thought the problem was mostly with 1997's, but some DSM fans might know if the problem still persisted in 98.

98 it was mostly cleared up. I owned a 95 with a 6 bolt in it for a week. That is the best reliability mod you could ever do;)
