Looking at a 95 Max GXE

Hello all;

Looking at upgrading the wife's car to a 95 Max with 110k. The service history is impeccable. Anyway, the radio display LED is shot. Is this a normal issue? I can't see on infinitipartsusa.com where a radio is available. Can't find any on Ebay...

P.S. Anything I should know- I learned the hard way with my 96 Infiniti!!!

Dead display on the Bose headunit is pretty common. If you want to stick with a factory headunit, your best bet is probably having the display repaired/rebuilt. It's a common enough problem (even outside Nissans, apparently) that there are quite a few shops that will do the job for ~$100.

Or you could go with an aftermarket headunit...you just want to search around for more info on using aftermarket headunits with the oddball factory bose system.
