Hey all, looked at a brown Q45 local to me the other day, and the owner has had it sitting there for a year or two without running. Before parking the car it was running rough, and now has been sitting for a while. The car has 67k miles on the odo, and has some cosmetic issues on the exterior (scraped down the passenger side, headlights seem misaligned and tabs broken to the mounts, some fade on the bumpers, and some dings). Interior is nearly perfect and miles seem legit...clean title, and in hand....she would take $200 for the car as it sits. Figure it hasnt been maintained or treated right in its life, but figure its worth fooling with.....thoughts? Figure it needs injectors, fresh fluids, battery, plugs, etc at the minimum....what else should i check out? Havent hooked up a battery to hear it turn over (for starter confirmation, not locked up, even compression, all lights in dash working etc) yet....

Should I get it? What else to figure on needing on something like this....

thanks,
Jeff

:welcome: to NICO! For $200 you could make money scrapping it. The throttle body (if it's not a TCS version) is almost worth that on eBay. I'd go for it if you have the time and desire to play with it. Injectors are probably to blame for the rough running... Possibly a MAF issue.

Agreed, go for it, 200 you can probabaly put 2k into it and drive it. That is super low miles and if you like the car it will be a beast!

Thanks guys. I will take a battery and see if there are any major issues (no crank, etc) this weekend....will likely bring it home!
