Looking at a '12 Rogue...good deal?

I'm helping my mother in law car shop & have found a '12 Rogue SV with 16,145 miles advertised for $13,500. I've been reading about the CVT problems and they seem to be hit and miss. Are the trans problems bad enough to shy away from this vehicle? Or with the low miles should it be ok for a while and just maybe look into an extended warranty on it? The Rogue seems to be fully loaded.

Wow, was it some granny that owned this vehicle or was it garaged?

We have a 2006 Lexus that is garaged with A couple thousand lesser miles.

Hardly used like new to me in a way. Only owner.

If nothing is wrong with it, I say it’s a nice buy.

Nissan cvt is a crapshoot. Any brand for that matter.

But if you purchase, you’ll have this great forum to guide and help you. +1

Personally, I never get the extended warranty.
