I'm looking for some opinions between buying the 09 up M35X and M37X, with and without Nav and CPO or not. Obviously the prices are much lower on the M35's with out Nav, so i'm internested in the opinion of any one that own's these cars and had to make the same choice.

Thanks in Advance

I own an 08 M45 with sports package/tech/advance tech/rear entertainment. I love my car, the only upset about the 08 and above is the hard drive nav.... you have to pay to upgrade if you are lucky to catch a sale 100 bucks for a stupid code and who knows how much for stealership to update it. If you are lucky to find a car that has current warranty. GO BUY THE ELITE EXTENDED WARRANTY! its way cheaper the long run and depending on how many years and miles you buy extend your current miles to however much. I bought my car with roughly 42-43k and got a 5-6? year extended till 113k? i believe that the mileage I can't remember exactly but it cost me roughly 3100 extra but includes a 100 deductible.

There is an option for a $0 deductible but that was 4100, but then again how many times will you take your car to the shop? plus 100 deductible is for all problems even if you come in with 6-10 different issues

So this elite extened warranty i can buy from infiniti if the car is still covered under the factory warranty? If so thanks for the info as i did't know that excisted.

I always wonder if the CPO route is worth it as I can buy a car fom a used car deler under warranty for like 5 grand less than the CPO,

I get the all the functions you want for the price you can afford and all is well, hope you get to enjoy the new M, btw i prefer the M45, I had the 35 before till it was a total lost from accident. The much added power is nice and the torque.... you will enjoy it my friend, trust me. Although i dont like paying the premium gases but i love/enjoy my car

If you have an opportunity to test-drive an M45, try it. The V-8 makes a big difference. If you buy an M-series, I strongly recommend the Elite warranty from either of the dealers listed above. Mine was about $2,100.00 to take the warranty out to 96,000 miles and 4 years (I bought my M45 Sport with 42,000 miles on it, with six months left on the original warranty). At this point, it has nearly paid for itself in covered repairs, and since it is a factory warranty the dealer bills it to Infiniti and you just pay the deductible. A wise investment.

Until recently, I would have insisted that you opt for the navigation system. It's the best one in the industry, and the integration with the sound & climate system are top notch.

However, two things have happened which put me in the "take it or leave it" category:

1. I moved to a city that Navteq has misclassified as being in two different counties (which is incorrect). Half the streets are in menu choice one, and the other in two. What this means is that I have to try almost every single command in both categories... as there is no consistency as to which street they erroneously placed outside the real county. Screw you, Navteq, for ruining my love affair with the M's nav system!!!

2. Now that smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S3 exist... they can do everything the factory nav can do (except reduce fan speed, radio volume, etc). With the S3, you can speak directions, and - here is the improvement - if you're a little off or don't know the exact address Google Maps will help you out. It will even show you a Street View photo when you reach your destination so you can see what the building looks like! Can't beat that!
