so i found a few that r in my price range:

BC Racing BR Type Coilovers

EMUSA Coilover Dampers

MDU drift Coilover

Yashio Factory Coilover ( free shipping but may take like 2 months )

NEX Coilover

Corner Eight Sport Suspensions

all of these are from 599 shipped to 990 shipped. I've heard of a few of these but not all of them. anyone that's had them let me know. i got Megan's and there fine but a little bumpy for my taste. all of these are with 8k/8k spring rates and for daily driving keep that in mind. thx

A common characteristic of cheap coilovers. Going cheap again isn't going to fix that.

$400 dollars is a big difference. If you are including $990 in your budget why not just get powered by max ones, or save a little bit more and get stances

All of the coilovers that you mentioned with the exception of BC and Yashio are all ebay knockoff crap.....Id say go w/either yashio or the BC's (i have them on my car from tein superdrifts and love em) they make stance so the quality and nice ride is there.....you can also get pbm if you wanna be super slammed but the bc's go low enough for me either or you cant go wrong as both have 1 yr warranties are here in the US and can be rebuilt here or you can just buy replacement dampers for the cheap

All those choices seem even cheaper than your Megan's, except the Yashio's. Save more. Go PBM or Stance. This is as far as you should go on the cheapo scale, IMO...

Dont get PSM coils if you think Megans are bumpy. Get stance or something.

Not just the spring rates, but the valving contributes to ride comfort. The valving on cheap company coils tend to have crappy valving therefore affecting ride. PSM have really tight coils with little to no bump bc of their valving, also affecting ride comfort. I wont lie, psm coils are pretty stiff, but drifting was kept in mind when they were made.

KTS???? they are about 1100 shipped. I know it's a tad over your price range, but they are very good for the money. Just putting out some other ideas.
