As a favor to a buddy i told him i'll check w/ you guys and gals to see if ya'll know of a good Dodge truck forum. Most seem geared toward off roading, and stuff, but he wants to finds a site similar to NICO w/ sport tuning tips, but quality day to day knowledge, scheduled maintenance and do it youself stuff. i dont know any dodge forums. it doesnt deserve that much attention.

i would also like to know this as i am currently driving an old ramcharger while the sr20 sits on a stand in the garage. this truck is a T_U_R_Dno power, no gas milage, no comfort, no prestige, no nothing but the smug grin that comes from knowing i could roll right over anything i want.

Thats about all they're good for. On the other hand, I wouldnt mind owning a Magnum, SR-T 10, or one of the new SR-T 8s for a couple years.

Alrighty then fellas, I pose this to you Dodge owners.

Who knows how to check a ecu code on a 98 ram. Can some one tell me the at-home procedure and even better, does anyone know where to get a list of Dodge's ecu codes.

i dont know if there is an easy way to check the codes without a scan tool.

any cheap obd2 scanner will do the job.
