Get them powder-coated.
Yeah and the wheels are spinning, any dust that hits the wheels acts like a sand blaster. I was going to recommend powdercoating. But I didn't know your budget either. If you are a budget racer, paint them. An if you scratch, light sand, and paint over it.AZhitman wrote:Paint on wheels is gonna disappoint you. Chips and scratches galore.

Yes powder is cheap finding a reputable shop that knows what they are doing with wheels so you don't end up with one over baked or baked to high, weakening the structural integrity is a bit harder and worth the price in the end to me.Ace2cool wrote:O.O
I didn't know powdercoaters charged such a premium. A pound of powder is only like 13 bucks, and that'll do a full set of wheels and then some, according to my buddy who does coating.
How smooth do you want?300ZXttZMAN wrote:can i get a smooth finish tho??? Cause if so then thats what im going to do im just going to bring them back to the same guy that i had blast them
I say just talk with them. They should have samples. IMO - If they not willing to present samples, I am not willing to do business.300ZXttZMAN wrote:ha so what your saying is i need to get some of the paint that rare posted and then bring that paint to a powder coating shop and tell him to match it
