Those are a couple that have good reputations.

JARCO doesn't have any CAs on their inventory list. Only Toyotas, Hondas and DSMs. Do you know about how much their CA clips cost? (if they even have any).

I think they have had 3 CA18 clips so far. Ever. They very rarely get them, but from what I hear Jarco sells some excellent quality stuff... JHOT seems to be pretty good so far too:) They've had a fair number of them on Ebay over the last few months!

Jarco has had like 5 or 6 CA clips total. the last 3 came in together and i think 2 of them were autos. they also sold quite fast and went for 1895 each with the k-frame. check with pulsar gtr on this board, he has a clip for sale. it's an auto tho.

I was going to contact him once the time comes which will be in two months. Hopefully he'll another one that's a MT.

side note: I was researching the CA a couple of months ago a ran across a company that was selling everthing (motor, turbo, ecu, uncut harness, smic, transmission, etc...) for $1200 plus $350 for shipping. But I can't remember what company it was.

it was probably flash options, and don't even think of giving your money to them

yeah you reallly want to stay away from flash options unless you have a escrow agent to make sure you get your product... heard very bad things about these people... also have heard good products from them when they do deliver... but very hard to contact if things don't work... lots of paperwork involved and takes like a million years to get your stuff

*damnit, my sig has a mind of it's own. Sometimes it is posted and sometimes it isn't

he has products that he stands behind and he is willing to help anyone... has lots of information. he has a bad rep over on the RB side cause he confuses buisness practice with personal life.... kinda on the pricey side but very very knowledgeable and reliable.... he ships out of arizona

Night7Racing has had its fair share of issues, but they seem to be getting better with customer service, but they ARE a Nico sponsor...

search through old threads involving Cameron (the owner) and some members of the RB forum. I will refrain from making any comments of how I feel on their past issues as I am not nor have I ever been a customer of theirs and I hope other members (JON!) will do the same;)

And your sig picture is only posted once per page of each thread to save space:)

Night's prices are the most expensive i've seen. 1850 for a clip plus shipping. then the k-frame is seperate. you get the k-frame with a clip from Jarco and their clips are 1895 when they have them. Night refuses to budge on anything to help anyone out. i have a lot of problems with him and dont trust him for nothing. no one in the importfanatix crew will buy from him. that's pretty much the whole northeast states. just a warning, stay away from Night as well.

I got my motorset from JHot on eBay. $1243 shipped, but they rarely have clips. Just get a motorset and a FMIC and you are set.

I bought my clip from night7racing. I had a wonderful experiance. Great product price a little steap but my clip has only 45000~ miles on it. It started on the first try out of the clip. A friend of mine who knows cameron said he personally actually drove my clip in japan before he had it cut and shipped. Dont know if its really true but the clip is quality.Video of it running

Unless you have FIRST HAND (That means YOU were in a transaction with someone) experience with any of our sponsors or any other business, please refrain from posting negatively OR positively about them. Hersay only promotes the spread of mis-information and tends to compounds problems that were minor to start out with. Thank you!

I am hoping this was not directed at me because I do have first hand experiance as I stated in my previous post. I was just sharing for the sake of others. If it was not directed towards me then disreguard. Thanks.

front clip for $1500. seems promising. what all did you get with your clip? It says "motor, transmission, ecu, uncut harness, and some other accessories". What about the MAF, ignitor, SMIC? I would assume that those are included since it's a front clip.

If you don't mind sharing, what did/were you in the process of buying that went sour and why? Just saying "he screwed me over" isn't very descriptive...

The post wasn't directed at anyone in particular. I've seen way too many threads like this turn into a bashing of a person/business when half of the people posting "hear" something bad. This isn't something that we usually have to deal with here in the CA forums, but I would like to keep it that way. And I don't want anyone to think that I don't wany anyone to post anything negative/positive. I just don't want you to post unless you've had a transaction with that business, regardless of who it is.

well, i'll make it short. first off i talked to him on the phone at a buddies house. they were good friends. he said he had a CA clip with k-frame for me and i told him i wasnt looking to spend any more than 2200. he told me he could do it for me because he was good friends with my buddy. two weeks later i email him and tell him the same thing i told him on the phone, and made sure he remembered he talked to me and everything. i told him i had money in hand in about a week. he wrote me this nasty email back about how he wasnt going to give it to me for that price, and that he had 3 people interested that were local, and blah blah blah. he gave me a huge attitude about it and then gave me a quote for like 2700. so i asked him why i would spend that much to go through him when he had just lied to me and when i could get everything through Jarco for 2200 total. so i told him i was going to take my business elsewhere. meanwhile, my buddy had been talking to him for three weeks about getting an RB20 clip and night knew he was on the market for one and told him he had one. my buddy gave him a date that he was ordering as well. so five days before that date comes, my buddy starts calling and emailing Night, at least 5 calls and emails a day, and he never got a call back. so he went to Jarco and got the clip in his driveway before Night ever got back to him, for less money too. so basically, everything is all good with Night until you are ready to order. it may not sound real bad, but you should have read/heard the things he was saying. he was lying through his teeth.
