Say what!?!?!? You're definitely going to have to give the details.

P.S. I got a ride in the green s14 with starion wheels that was tuned at your shop, holy crap does that thing pull hard. You sir get a thumbs up for working at the shop that tuned that beast. Give your tuner a thumbs up too haha.

Fail. :tisk:

Unless you make some serious bank off of it, then it will be acceptable.

Keep the front, lose the tree hanging from the rear view mirror.

Well i guess I'll let you guys in on what happened.

Turns out the car the front end came off of was stolen. The kid apparently had been planning everything for about a month.
I honestly did not see it coming, had no reason to even think the car wasn't his.
I've since smoothed things out with the orig. owner, returned his front end, and got mine back.
This whole situation is pretty much a cluster fu*k since i got blindsided and caught up in it all.

Guess the lesson here is, if its too good to be true... it probably isn't, seeing as he wanted to trade Straight up for my front end.

Ive heard of a couple deals like that, but mostly when the kouki front end isn't in perfect shape.

Man that's s***. I'm guessing the original owner or cops found you thinking it was the stolen car?

That kid is in jail right?

Lol i was just about to jokingly say "what was the car stolen and the guy wanted to fool the owner?" There is no way a kouki front end goes that cheap. But i really do like the way your car looks zenki. One of the few ones i like.

As long as you're not in jail, framed for something you didn't do, then just look on the bright side that you will get other opportunities to go kouki. I must say however, your car looked good in kouki form, but the zenki form looked just as good. so either way, your car will look good.

Thanks for the kind words on the crappy situation guys.
He got pulled over in the stolen car for a blown headlight.
and ive heard of deals like that also, the way i saw it, this kids dumb enough to trade front ends, im not gonna ask why and have him change his mind! but i did ask why tho. he told me he really like zenki better.. after that i didn't ask anymore questions. and yeah kid got charged with grand larceny in two counties.. which is a felony.. i think.
He tried to pull others into the blame, but his stories were so bad the investigator told me he's sure it was him alone.

im still contemplating on sticking with zenki.. there's a shop near me that has a jdm kouki front end swap, so im thinking bout doing that. if not ill do Projector conversion in my headlight and do the super-made clear lenses, go HID's and do JDM Navan front bumper.

as of now im just throwing ideas around.. sticking wth zenki and going jdm navan and projectors would be cheaper tho.

ummm maybe you missed the part when he said he had to go back to zenki :poke:
read thread, then post.

e7, i don't feel one way or the other when it comes to the zenki vs. kouki debate, but certain cars just flow better with certain fronts. yours looked better as a zenki.

hey man, first off the car looks awesome and sorry to hear about you losing the kouki front.

But did you get your wheels from an online company or from someone else? And do you think those would look good in 17s cuz everyone that i have seen that rocks the saleen wheels are 18s and i was just thinking 18s will be too big for a stock s13 hb?

yeah i think i may stick to zenki.. tho ive wanted kouki, owning a zenki for 4 years pretty much made me like em ha.
The wheels are Mustang Saleen Reps. you can get em anywhere that sells mustang reps.
i dont think they make them in 17s tho. and i think 18s look great on s13s!
i know a guy with an s13 on the same wheels that's lower than me!

Tally another vote for Zenki here, your car looked sick before. Makes me have second thoughts about going kouki with my 95.

I wouldn't do projectors, the ones I've seen just look kinda rigged..zenki's should have refractors like kouki's should have projectors
