Ever since buying my 95 Zenki, there was always something I hated about it. . . the grill. . . I hated the many lines it had, it made the car look like it had a uni-brow. . . I always loved the 96 zenki grills, and I searched forever, and could never find one used. . . And buying it new isn't worth the $200.00 it costs at the dealer.

So. . . I decided to take my grill off, and modify it to look like the 96 grill/kouki grill LAWl.

Here are pics of the almost finished product. Keep in mind that I still need to sand it a bit more, and then paint it. But what do you guys think? OHHH YEAAA. :rotfl

a '96 is still a Zenki year.

and what'd you do? Break off the lines? The grills that say "Silvia" looks pretty cool on the Zenki's.

Yeah, my grill looks similar to the 96 zenki grill AND kouki grills (if you look at the design).

And yeah, I sawed off the middle line, and sanded it etc. It was actually pretty hard, because if you screw up the cuts, the whole thing will be done for. So I had to be very careful.

I don't really dig grills that are just holes. (For example some of the s15 body kits have just a gap between the headlights.) But who knows, maybe it'll look better once it's on the car. I hope so :D

Well, if you don't like grills with a big hole, than you won't like my grill when it goes on. . . Because that's the look i'm aiming for, a big hole (just like the 1996 S14 zenki grill).

By the way, here's the 96 grill

And here's the kouki grill

As you can see, there's some resemblances to my grill :)

Alright, here's some day time shots of the grill. And if you haven't noticed, I also painted the scratched up lip. Ahh, the car is finally coming together.

Preciate the kind words =) She is my pride and joy.
I daily the coupe tho. Which isn't cool enough to look like a probe, or a camry.

I said good work though haha doesn't that make it all better? You gotta work with what ya got. It does look better than most zenki's and it was mad cheaper (free) than a kouki conversion. (<--Only way i could own a zenki 14)

New pics look much better, and the painted lip is hotness. The car IS coming together.
