What do you hate about the look of the g sedan? It's OK with me that you do, just wonder what you don't like.Honestly, my wife didn't like the look initially as much as she liked the TL.I think the sedan has simplistic, sleek beauty!

Don't be Haten' on our G35's Rishi

I tell you what is really funny and that is how the Infiniti has only a 5 speed auto and they liked it better than any other.

I had a loaner G35 from the dealer and I hated the auto. It never did what i wanted and laged really bad. I thought that was the worst part of the car. I must of had a bad one. But i also drove the an is350 and is300's and they had great autos. The Is350 had one of the best autos (until i drove in the Ls460 8 speed lol) but was always very precise and did what i wanted.

Hey imo I think they should all be 6mt's

In a perfect world, All cars would be 6MT, but I'll wait for that day to come

I too agree there is much to be desired out of the 5AT, but the grounding wires have improved the shifting dramatically, I like the sedan, actually, as much as the coupe, but I like having something unique anyway...

The Edmunds link above confirms my love for this automobile.

The new car has a learning computer thats supposed to change the vehicle dynamics based on your driving style. IE if you drive it hard it will hold revs longer and will shift harder..... at least thats what the salesman told me. Maybe thats why you got a lax automatic?

I ride in a 335i almost daily...and there is nothing (aside from the fantastic power swells) that could come close to tearing me away from a G (coupe or sedan).

The BMW's interior is worse than my coupe's, and definitely far below the feel of the sedan's. The suspension is so much more sloshy, and the exhaust note just isn't present to tell you, "Hey, this engine is a beast...drive me baby, drive me!"

The exterior is has no hope of competing with a G.

I tell my friend that my G may not be able to pass his 335i (I stay on his ***), it looks and sounds infinitely (heh, I like my pun there) better than the BMW.

It's interesting that you say you hate it. I hated all of the 1st gen sedans. I thought they made they dragged down the coupes name

The newer ones are pure sex. I love the curves and the acceleration feels great with their soft suspension. I do wish that the 5AT would kick in sooner.

The loaner that I drove would rev the engine, then engage the torque converter and send you flying. It felt great (butt dyno), but the 1-2 second lag wasn't great.

I do have to say that Yerv's 1st gen sedan looks great (due to the suspension mod).

Now if Infiniti would only get rid of that little chrome lip, we'll be good.

Did anyone look just a little to the right on that page, and peep the GTR video??

They are comparing it to the Porsche 911 turbo and the Corvette Z06, and it beats in most categories!!
