You took your car to midas... Well what did you expect? Quality mechanics on the cheap? Les Schwab would do a better job than midas.

I only use Midas ONLY for exhaust work for a reason. I'm wondering why you didn't change your brakes yourself? It's really not that hard, even if you have to take your rotors off and get them ground somewhere local.

That paint on the calipers was going to eventually chip one way or another. Seeing as how he took his car to a shop to get brakes done, i'm sure he painted those without taking off the caliper or bracket.
As far as the rim goes he should just request to see the tapes. I'm pretty positive midas has video cameras in their shop.
I work on customers cars everyday and it's amazing how they "magically" notice scuffs, and scrapes after i work on their cars, regardless what part of the car i was working in.
