I hate to bring this up, but if something is titled for destruction in the state of FL, its gonna be BAD. They don't issue a destruction title for minor stuff like hoods and bumpers, there had to be damage totalling more than 80% of the cars book value.

You could even run into a situation where you pay for this car, get it home and go to have it inspected, only to be told its not properly repaired and can't be titled.

Many times I've seen cars in Miami, cosmetically fixed up with a title for export to other country only, but without knowing that and really inspecting the car, you'd miss the serious problems that didn't get fixed.

I'd be very cautions about the structural integrity of that car.

i specifically asked the guy if the car was stucturally sound and he said the only things damaged were the lights and hood and bumper and everything is fine, i carfaxed it and it has a damaged title which is different than a salvage title so when i get it ill check it over then get it inspected if its all ok, otherwise ill fix it to best condition and then go inspect

thats not cheap for an R title.... there was a 95 SE with 120k and a rebuilt motor, 5 spd, with sunroof, for 2500 with light damage and it still had a clean title.

Houston. You've never seen one that cheap cause you live in rip off california. Anyway if you browse local car ads and trader journals you find cheap 240's all the time. Anyone who bothers to post a 10 year old car on the internet probably "knows what its worth" to someone and there will be all sorts of guys looking at it. Local trader journals, especially in redneck areas, people are like "its a ****ty little nissan. I'll sell it for $600." At least thats the logic, I guess. Anyway its not like 2500 is typical for an s14, but I'm just saying if you look around you can get them cheap. And that one just had some minor dents on the door panels and fenders, and it had a clean title (worth more on resale).

My friend just bought a '95 s14 with only 90k on it and in perfect condition for $2500, the guy thought the clutch was going out on it, but it was fine, that was about a year ago.
