I assume the 225 goes in the rear. So, you'll have bigger side walls in the front? Did you mean 205/45/16?

Why do you guys like 16"? I've heard that 17s give the best performance.

Anyway, would a 17X9 +25 with a 245/50/17 fit on my S13 with Pro Kit?

I'm thinking 245/50/17 in the rear and 225/45/17 in front. I know the rears will be a size over - that's what I want.

I think you are comfused. 55% of 205 is almost identical to 50% of 225, thus the sidewalls on my tires are the same front and rear. 16s are generally lighter, and have have much less rotatating mass and inertia, yielding quicker braking, accelerating and handling. 17x9+25 would probably not clear coilovers, because it would be closer to the shock than a 16x8+35, but it would be close. I am pretty sure it would clear a spring setup.
