Why what? Why is it sad? It's sad because a car designed for fuel-efficient commuting is being sold as a sports car toy. The freaking Civic is not a bloody sports car! It's not a sport sedan, or a performance sedan. It's not even good looking!!! My 1995 2.3 Ford Ranger that cost me $2000 is quicker and handles better! And yet there are people who would dispute this till their death.

Meanwhile, all those cars that DO fit the above criteria and ARE good looking are ignored. I cringe every time I think of what these stupid kids are doing to the auto industry.

It is indeed a noble cause, preventing the young and impressionable from being corrupted. Good on ya, Ace!!

Well a few kids around here like the color of the unpainted kits so much, they painted the whole car to match it. There's 2 grey Civics and a Prelude painted with that dreaded light blue.
