So I got my S14 SR20DE and when i took the transmission off, i found an upgraded clutch and flywheel. The clutch pressure plate had " OS" written on it. im not sure what kind of flywheel it is... could you guys help me out? also, how do i remove the pressure plate to check and see if the clutch disc needs to be replaced or not? there are a bunch of small bolts on the front and then there are bolts on the outer rim that need alan wrenches. any and all help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Mine came with a HKS clutch, however it was roached haha. Make sure you take the clutch off to see if the disk is good.

Giken = Exedy. A good clutch, but not a gold mine... It's an older model, typical replacement clutch in Japan.

take the nine alan bolts out around the edge, and the pressure plate and disc will come off. if you dont have an alignment tool then you will have to go to the local parts store and get one that will fit.

what if you opened up your transmission and there really was a gold mine?! At first you'd be like "zomg theres a gold mine in my transmission!" but then you'd have to think "what, how long as this engine been sitting?"
