So I was out one night with my friend because he wanted to show me how "good" his new vw r32 handled -_-'. While driving recklessly around this vacant/undeveloped lot i happen to see this bumper on the curb. An i yell out STOP S14 BUMPER!! I get out an look at it sure enough its a Origin Stylish front bumper with turning signals . But it was damaged so i took the lights. Out of curiosity i go back last night (bout a month later) an its still there!

So im now thinking of using my auto body skillz that i dont have, to make an attempt to fix it. It looks pretty bad though. What you guys think?

Is it fixable?

Sweet!

Is it Authentic?

Looks like they tried fixing it before?Damage...

nice find!

its fixable, but would require lots of body work.

get some fiberglass resin and cloth, a can of bondo, some filler primer and paint a see if you can save her

Anything can be fixed. This bumper looks really beat up. It IS fixable. The question is do you want to? I wouldn't bother, but that's just me.

nice score but looks like it would be a tough fix with that big chunk out of the middle bottom missing.

Ya i know the damage is pretty ugly lol.Im hardly working right now and well i guess it would be something to keep me occupied other than the internetz. So im thinking about just doing it, plus i could get a little experience in the process.

Thats what i was wondering too there's hardly any 240s in my civic infested town let alone s14s but. What im thinking there probably trying to drift and damaged it, the area is well hidden and there were tire marks all over? But occasionally a security comes by there so they might of took off???? I don't know

thats pretty darn cool to just up and find parts like that, its winter and your works slackin off...dude, spend your time on it, itll keep you from being bored and help you learn a thing or two about auto-body, and fibreglass and bondo dont really cost much at all. just think of it as a time killing project, who knows it may turn out pretty decent and you'll have done it yourself, even better

Dude zip ties.

That is all you need is some zip ties and a drill.

Stitch that shizzle.

I am not a big fan of zip ties but i have seen some stitching done before with them and i think it looks really nice.

Kinda like battle damage!

They do it very well!

One Love,

Ghasty

a lot of time and about 50-60 bucks you could fix it, but a lot of time since your not a body guy. My back yard body guy would probabloy charge about 200 to fix it and get it back to primer. So i vote no fix.

op- do you have a s14 to use it on?if you do, and you have lots of free time, the you should definitely fix it, why not. However if you dont have a car to use it on then i wouldnt bother, unless you just want the practice doing bodywork

Yeah be prepared for a LOT of sanding. start with fixing the crack in the middle first using fiberglass sheets and fiberglass bondo.
