After my car is running, I wont have to worry about traction... and 5 lugs come with it!

Congrats, are you going to just put the whole subframe on?

I wonder if the hicas system on that is compatible with the hicas on my 240sx.

That would be sweet, 5 lugs and large brakes all in one swoop.

I doubt I'm going to put the whole subframe in. I'll probably drop mine and see how similar in length the axles are.

he would still need the HICAS control unit as well as a HICAS P/S pump. Not to mention that the skyline has a larger track than the 240, so I would think that putting the whole subframe on would screw up the suspension geometry of the chassis.

yeh. more than likely i'll have to put the skyline guts in my s13 case. The skyline has a different flange for the drive shaft, and depending on how hard that will be, I may just swap internals. Now to hunt down either some silvia/j30 5 bolt axles or some s13/j40 6 bolt vlsd output flanges.

I HATE YOU.

The only 2 R200 (IIRC) diffs that came with 4.33:1 final drive were the CA and RB20 rear diffs. Lucky bastard...

from what ive read, this rear end is a 4.11 ratio unless the gts-4 (what this came out of i believe) and gt-r have different ratios.

See, I've read that the RB20 and CA had 4.36:1 and the SR and KA had 4.11:1. Oh well, I don't hate you then. If someone could verify the ratios, I will ONLY get a VLSD if I can get 4.36s. If not, I will save for an S15 helical.
