i don't have coilover or rucus, just drop springs and some blues :gapteeth:

i'm leaning towards 245/40 and 265/35 because of my setup.
Lol, they're blatant fakes. Even the boxes say TE on them haha. Anyways, I know you don't care about the whole HF thing. It was more a response to simmode. Btw, with 245s up front, your front tires will be significantly taller than your rears. It will look funny and balloony. 235 is a better fit.

^^ no i understood what you said... just saying in general :chuckle:
plus, there are a lot of fakes out there including rotas... who are by far with the most fakes.

anyhow, 235 may seem to work better, but i want the 245/40 to fill up the gap of the front. for rears, i was even leaning towards 265/40 just to fill the gap.

i use to have 245/35 in the front and it looked like crap, lots of gap and made my 18's look tiny. the rear had 285/35 and sidewall is no joke as it look like its a 45 series instead of 35 :chuckle:

Yeah, after i realized he wasn't on coilovers, there went any notions of a Hella-flush feature.

And while its true that they don't often feature replica wheels, they do rarely on occasion if its something really special...

I wonder if HellaFlush regrets featuring these two cars... :chuckle:

HF shouldn't be based on $4000 set of wheels... rather than the car being flush (stick it to their name!)

there are people who can't afford $4000 set of wheels :slap:

Fake as can be dude...., I believe they even come from the same factory as Rota is produced from.

I wouldnt pay 4k for Rims either, I would pay that for wheels however.

Yeah, wheel fitment is a very elitist game, if you haven't noticed...

Easy. You pay what you get for. You pay the big bucks to get the best. And trust me, even $4k is nothing at times. Neez wheels go for about $7k a set.
These BBS wheels?

How's $8k for the set sound?

HF is about the overall execution and quality of the build of a car. It's not only about wheel fitment. That's what all the other wheel fitment sites (StanceNation, Stancewerks, etc) are mainly about.

Very elitest. Nothing wrong with that. I like good quality parts. Gotta pay to play.

Oh, I'm not saying its bad. It was more of a statement for the folks that think they're gonna get fitment fresh and set the internet on fire with some cheap wheels. Your gonna have some fans and you're gonna have some haters. It's the nature of the game.

I don't for one second, though, think Tommy gives a damn about being a forum star though. Just wants his st*t to look nice around town... like alot of guys.

^^ that BBS wheel look ugly IMO. i wouldn't spend $8k for them. perhaps the BBS LM :dblthumb:

yes i could careless for name brand wheels atm. i had volks before this set as well as the set before.

as far as i know, these Varrstoen have a lot of mix feelings... and the ones that have something to say are usually the ones spending the big $$ for name brand wheels.
otherwise, they can just jump on the bandwagon :chuckle:

I'm not saying paying 4-8k for wheels is necessary a bad thing, I guess it is just a lot since most of us paid under 10k for our cars. But hey if maintenance is caught up and you don't need anymore go fast mods, have at it if you have the funds.

OMFG Finally some pics! Looks great!
The front alignment is looking pretty good, the rears seem a little far out, but not by much!

Thanks for the 40 DAY WAIT!!!
Nice parking lot you chose; see lots of skiddies there! :dblthumb:
Never noticed the misalignment + discoloration on the front fascia, but i loved the license plate frame!

They're more in the 22-23 lbs range. 18 lbs is forged territory. That's how much my old Nismo and my current CE28s weigh.

Yeah, no way in hell they're less than 22lbs.

If you like them then that's awesome. Definitely not the "fit" I would have gone with, wheels aside. Color and style wise they look good.
