ok i just pick up a L16 for my 510 for 200 bucks with trans good for i think. anyways i tore it apart and i want to rebuild it lots of carbon build up if anyone can point or show me to a site that sale parts for a datsun 510 1969 L16 everything for the motor would be great thanks.

so you want valves and pistons because they have carbon on them???

any local parts store sells pistons valves gaskets etc for the l16, rockauto.com and a good place online

cause some of the vavles are burnt and one of the piston looks bad and i just want to get the experince and i want to use it as a back up motor if and when i get my other motor for my 510 like sr or rb and i want to drive my 510 BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

call wiesco, they'll make the pistosn to your spec's

do you have a damaged piston? are you going to overbore? is your current pistons to wall clearance within spec?
